Hampton Downs is a world class motorsport park and events centre and home to some of the biggest events in NZ, including the New Zealand Grand Prix and Ferrari Challenge Australasia.  It also boasts a private membership and is the home of the NZ Racing Academy.

The North Waikato venue underwent a $30m upgrade in 2016 under the ownership of Tony Quinn and has since cemented its place as one of the best motorsport facilities in the world.

Activities include the now-famous Hampton Downs Go-Karts and the Repco V8 Mustang and Camaro U-Drive experiences. Other attractions include Mad Mike Whiddett’s Mad Lab and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Series “Live Workshop”. Don’t miss our very own car show, Caffeine and Gasoline held on the last Sunday of each month and if you want to get your own car out on our circuits, check out Auto Addict on our website. Award-winning coffee and great food are available from our Café, and if you drive electric, we have a high-speed charger onsite for your convenience.

Hampton Downs is also a corporate event and conference venue with 11 different modern meeting rooms and catering options.
